Real Time JPEG encoding
No temporary files are required for video recording. Each frame is compressed by the JPEG coder, the final video file has MJPEG format.

Simple and easy user interface
All setting’s changes come into operation immediately. It is not necessary to reload the program.
HotKeys Setting

Movement detector
Movement detector allows to record if there is any movement only. This ability saves memory at the hard disk, as record is stopped if there is no movement.
Timer
Allows to record during the determined interval of time.
For example.
From 5:00:00 till 10:00:00 – record from 5 o’clock till 10 o’clock .
From 10:00:00 till 5:00:00 – the record will be started at 10 a.m., continued in the afternoon, at night, and stopped at 5 a.m.
It is possible to combine timer and/or movement detector.

The control of free size on a hard disk
Record will be stopped if volume of free memory on a hard disk is less than 100 Mbytes. This opportunity of VideoPeep prevents the overfilling of the hard disk by the recorded video files which may lead to a wrong work of the computer.
Auto Name
VideoPeep can generate a video file’s name automatically. The file will be put in a folder with a name coinciding with a current date. Video file’s name includes (consists of) the time when record was started and the amount of frames in this video file.
Auto Pause
VideoPeep won’t record video files if record activation terms are not fulfilled (are not performed) (are not executed)
Auto Restart
The size of one video file is limited to 3600 frames. The Program creates a new file to continue the recording if the last one is filled.
The quality of JPEG encoding may be set from 1 to 100
The higher the quality of JPEG encoding, the more memory is required for a frame of a video file. One frame may take from 8 to 250 Kbytes of memory on a hard disk depending on JPEG encoding quality.
The recommended amount of Kbytes in one frame - 50. The Program reflects the size of a last JPEG video frame in bytes. You can change the quality of JPEG encoding during the video recording and examine how changes affect on the JPEG video frame’s size.

Hidden start
This option allows the Program to become invisible immediately after the start. Put this program to an auto loading. If the option “hidden start” is turned on (switched on) the program will be loaded in an invisible mode after the start of the computer. You can set program to visible mode with a help of HotKeys.
